Due to an early retirement in the English department the school is looking for either an experienced English teacher or an NQT to start with them in March. The school will consider employing an English teacher on either a fixed term contract or a long term supply basis, but you must be able to commit long term.
The school is outstanding and is oversubscribed year after year. They've managed to maintain the high levels they've set themselves by taking the time to consistently improve attainment and manage behaviour effectively throughout the school. The successful English teacher will be joining a supportive English department where best practices are always shared.
The ideal English Teacher will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to successfully deliver engaging English lessons at GCSE and A' level.
