English Teacher

An English Teacher is needed at a community orientated school in South London.

You will need to teach KS3 to KS5 English for this English Teacher post.

This English Teacher role will be full time and long term, running up to December 2023.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply for this English Teacher position. This includes but isn't limited to planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending regular team meetings/parents evenings.

The rates of pay for this English Teacher role will be between £150 to £250 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. The team has a positive reputation for being very friendly, inclusive and supportive.

Requirements

You are welcome to apply if you are a newly qualified English Teacher or experienced English Teacher.

  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
