An English Teacher is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South East London.
This English Teacher post will be full time, 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 English, in line with the National Curriculum, if appointed as an English Teacher.
The school is seeking an English Teacher with strong behaviour management, excellent social skills and the ability to multi task effectively.
Standard class teacher responsibilities will apply to this English Teacher role. These include but aren't limited to; planning engaging lessons, effectively assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings.
The salaries for this English Teacher position will be between £32407 to £48055, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
Facilities include a 3G pitch on the large grounds, as well as two refurbished Science laboratories and enhanced DT sites.
In September 2020, a state of the art Performing Arts block was opened, alongside an industry standard Fitness Centre.

Requirements

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as an English Teacher:
- UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Be living in the UK and have the right to work in the UK unhindered
- Experience of teaching as an English Teacher in UK Secondary schools
