An excellent mixed all through mainstream school in Enfield, is seeking a qualified and experienced full time English Teacher. The post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced candidates.
The school is looking to appoint a full time English Teacher immediately or for January 2020. Responsibilities will include all standard elements of class teaching, such as planning, teaching and assessing pupils, as well as overall effective delivery of the UK English National Curriculum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Candidates applying for this full time English Teacher role must have strong personal qualifications, with a 2:1 in a relevant subject from a good university and at least a B in English at A Level. You must hold QTS and have mainstream Secondary school experience as an English Teacher.
The salary for this full time English Teacher position will range from £28355 to £44541 depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

The school was graded Outstanding in all areas when inspected by Ofsted in April 2015.
The Progress 8 Score is well above average at 0.77.
Pupils are very well behaved and are extremely keen, as well as focused when it comes to learning. In addition to this, the staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive, providing all of those on site with assistance with whatever they need or require.
There are currently 54 extracurricular sessions running at the school that include advance coding, political art, Japanese and cooking.
The English Curriculum at the school consists of learning Oliver Twist, works of Shakespeare, Sherlock Holmes, Jane Eyre with many more classic and contemporary pieces of Language & Literature being the focus.

As a minimum requirement, all applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a full time English Teacher:
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- 2:1 in a relevant subject from a good University
- B in English at A Level
- Right to work in the UK
- Experienced and knowledge of teaching the English Curriculum at KS3 to KS5
