English Teacher (with Drama & History) - SEN School - Chiswick, West London

A welcoming and well-resourced special needs school in Chiswick, West London is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach a blend of English, Drama, and History across Key Stage 3 and 4, starting September 2025.

The school caters to pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and offers a supportive, inclusive environment where both staff and students thrive.


The Role as an English Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible lessons in English, Drama, and History to small class groups across KS3 and KS4

  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs, including those with additional SEND requirements

  • Foster a creative and supportive learning environment that promotes student confidence, literacy, and self-expression

  • Collaborate with SEN staff and therapists to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities


About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with relevant subject specialism

  • Experience teaching in a special needs setting or strong interest in working with students with additional needs

  • Confident delivering lessons across English, Drama, and History

  • Passionate about inclusive education and nurturing student potential

  • Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
