Are you a dedicated English Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a passionate and creative educator to join our welcoming and supportive school community in Chiswick.

About the School:
Our school is a specialist provision for students with moderate learning difficulties (MLD). We pride ourselves on offering a nurturing, inclusive environment where pupils are supported both academically and emotionally. Teaching takes place in smaller classrooms, allowing for personalised instruction and greater student engagement.

The school follows a holistic curriculum that is designed in cooperative with a team of occupational therapists and speech and language therapists. This integrated approach ensures that all aspects of a student's development are supported.

The Role:
We are looking for an English Teacher to join our team from September 2025. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and accessible English lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs. You will work closely with therapists, support staff, and other teachers to provide a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience for each student.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEND (preferred but not essential)
  • A commitment to inclusive education and child-centred teaching
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
