English Teacher (with Drama & History) - Special Needs School - Chiswick, West London

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a fantastic special needs school in Chiswick, West London. This is a unique opportunity to work within a nurturing environment that delivers a holistic curriculum, supported by a highly skilled team of Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

About the School:

  • Based in Chiswick, West London

  • Supports students with moderate learning difficulties (MLD)

  • Delivers a therapeutic, holistic curriculum tailored to individual needs

  • Collaborative and supportive staff team

  • Focus on emotional well-being, communication, and academic progress

The Role:

  • Full-time English Teacher (able to teach English, Drama, and History)

  • Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with MLD

  • Working alongside therapy professionals to support student development

  • Creating an inclusive, positive and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable

  • Ability to teach English with confidence, and deliver Drama and History across KS3 and KS4

  • A creative, patient, and flexible approach to teaching

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
