We are currently recruiting for an English Teacher that can teach a mix of English, History and Drama across key stage 3 and 4. You will be working at a fantastic special needs school based in Chsiwick, West London that supports students with a diverse range of moderate learning difficulties.
Providing learners with a holistic curriculum guided by a team of Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists to ensure student progression in a safe and vibrant community.
You will be working at a welcoming and supportive learning environment with fantastic career progression opportunities and a quick turn around from temp to perm.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
- Plan and teach high quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Adapt teaching style to meet the personalised needs of each individual
- Know how ASD can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
- Use positive behaviour techniques
