ESOL TEACHER REQUIRED TO TEACH PROFESSIONAL ADULTS. (Contract Position)

ABOUT THE ESOL TEACHER ROLE / ESOL TEACHER
This is a brilliant opportunity for an ESOL Teacher, or an English Teacher, who has experience teaching within the UK, to work overseas, in an exciting contract post, with great benefits, and working with professional adults who are very motivated to learn.
We are looking for ESOL Teachers or English Teachers to work with Young adults, who need to develop their working knowledge of the English Language, to support their future career aspirations in a multi lingual environment. The aim is to raise their overall ability to communicate and converse effectively in English with simple education plans. You should ensure that ESOL students are making progress with their English by delivering aspects of the ESOL curriculum which will be relevant to their specific needs, and this should be delivered to a good standard.
You will be planning and delivering group sessions to ESOL students and developing EAL resources to support students in. Most students will have a basic level of English already, the purpose of this role is to enhance this.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ESOL TEACHER / ENGLISH TEACHER / TUTOR POST:
- Qualifications to degree level or equivalent.
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience in your subject specialism with the ability to tutor mature students
- Excellent classroom practitioner.
- Commitment to improving practice through reflection, appropriate professional development and through being open to advice and feedback.
- Evidence of continuing professional development or relevant research.
- Experience of working in an educational environment and a multi-ethnic community. (Desirable)
- Desire to work overseas.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - ESOL TEACHER
- Excellent communication skills
- Be available to take a role overseas in Jakarta, (living accommodation provided)
- Ability to motivate students and colleagues to recognise and respond to the diverse needs of learners.
- Ability to design opportunities for learners to develop their overall English language and literacy skills,
- Commit fully to a long term contract.
- Have a strong sense of moral purpose and encourage all learners to reach a high level of English.
- Have a high level of personal drive and consistently set extremely high standards for yourself and those you teach.
