The Role
This is a full-time EYFS Teacher post within the Early Years Foundation Stage, ideal for a confident practitioner who enjoys leading practice and supporting development across the room.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading Welcomm assessments, review meetings and STP reviews in collaboration with the SENCO
Acting as key person for around eight children, with responsibility for planning, observation and assessment
Using Tapestry and EY Works to support learning and progress tracking
Working within a well-organised setting with a maximum of 26 children in the room
Staffing & Support
The EYFS Teacher will be supported by:
Two experienced Scale 5 Early Years Practitioners
Additional part-time Scale 3 and Scale 2 team members
A friendly, motivated and cooperative staff team that values strong leadership and shared practice
Person Specification
The successful EYFS Teacher will have:
EYTS or QTS and at least three years' experience teaching within EYFS
A secure understanding of the EYFS framework and assessment processes
The confidence to lead a classroom and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
A caring, forward-thinking approach suited to early years education
