Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM (30-minute dinner break)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Reeson Education is recruiting a dedicated and qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the M11 area of Manchester. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and begins in September 2025.

The school is looking for a confident and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification (e.g. Level 3 in Childcare, Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, or Level 3 EYFS) and previous school-based experience in an early years setting.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a Reception or Nursery class and working closely with the class teacher to deliver play-based learning, phonics, and early development activities.

Key responsibilities as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:
* Provide high-quality classroom support in an EYFS setting as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Assist in delivering phonics, literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning
* Promote early social, emotional, and physical development
* Support individual and group learning as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Help with routines including transitions, personal care, and snack/lunchtime
* Set up engaging provision and maintain a safe, tidy environment
* Use the EYFS framework to guide learning and contribute to observations
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
* Uphold safeguarding policies at all times in your role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Be a reliable and nurturing presence as a consistent EYFS Teaching Assistant

This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who:
* Holds a Level 3 Early Years or TA qualification
* Has previous school-based experience supporting EYFS children
* Is confident, caring, and enthusiastic about early years education
* Wants to work full-time, long-term from September
* Lives locally or can easily commute to the M11 area
