REESON Education are recruiting for a French speaking Teaching Assistant to join a high achieving Primary school in the Borough of Islington from April 20th on-wards. The role will be an initial fixed term contract until January 2021, with the view for a permanent contract to be offered to the right candidate.
The role will be full time, Monday to Friday, working across 2 successful schools. You will be based 4 days a week at the main school site and 1 day at a sister school located a short walk away. Both schools are easily reached by public transport and there is nearby parking available for candidates who wish to drive.
As a French speaking Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering French lessons across the school; working with pupils aged 4 - 11. You will also offer general assistance to the class teachers as and when required and may also need to work on a 1-1, or small group basis with pupils who need additional help to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching French, or as an MFL tutor on a freelance basis. Applications from fluent French Speakers without an Education background will also be considered.
