Geography Teacher

A Geography Teacher is needed in an 'Outstanding' Catholic Secondary School in West London.

This Geography Teacher role can part or full time.

If appointed as a Geography Teacher you will need to teach KS3 to KS4 Geography. The ability to teach to KS5 would be advantageous but is not essential.

Standard Geography Teacher responsibilities apply for this position. This includes but isn't limited to planning engaging lessons, efficiently assessing all pupil attainment and attending regular team meetings.

As a minimum you must hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and possess a strong knowledge of Safeguarding practices in UK schools.

Ideal Geography Teacher applicants will have excellent behaviour management skills, high levels of organisation and be able to work effectively alongside a team.

The rates of pay for this Geography Teacher position will be between £120 to £240 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a newly qualified Geography Teacher or experienced Geography Teacher.

You are also encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Geography Teacher or overseas trained Geography Teacher.

  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working as a Geography Teacher in UK schools
