Daily Rate: £150 - £210 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
For the right candidate, there is also an exciting Head of Geography opportunity available, offering leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher Role:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire students to develop a love for Geography and achieve academic success
- Use assessment data to inform planning and raise attainment
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department
- Promote Geography across the school and wider community
What We're Looking For in a Geography Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in Geography with strong subject knowledge
- Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school (or strong placement experience for ECTs)
- A team player who contributes positively to school life
- A Geography Teacher who is passionate about curriculum development and student progress
- A Geography Teacher who stays up to date with current pedagogy and educational thinking
