Are you a Graduate who is passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs? If yes, REESON Education want to hear from you!
We are currently working with a network of schools in the London Borough of Lambeth who are recruiting for Graduates who are keen to pursue a career within the education sector. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for working on a 1-1 or small group basis with pupils with additional learning needs. You must be driven, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a large team.
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that your key pupil reaches their full potential at school. You must be able to develop strategies to make learning fun and to manage behaviour in an effective but calm manner. This type of role can be incredibly rewarding, and many Graduates often discover they would like to train as a teacher as a result.
The schools ideally recruit for Graduates with the following Specialisms:
- English Language/Literature
- Mathematics/Sciences
- Psychology/Humanities
- Childhood studies
Applications from Graduates with other area specialisms will also be considered. Interviews and trial days can be arranged after the half term break and roles often are filled quickly. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.
