Graduate Teaching Assistant

The role is within a special day school for children aged 2-11 years. Our school specialises in educating pupils with severe and profound learning disabilities, many of the pupils have additional physical disabilities, communication difficulties and complex health needs. The school upholds a high standard of education and continually works towards improving their pupils' performances by maintaining an environment that is nurturing, empowering and supportive while at the same time setting challenges. As a Graduate teaching assistant, your main responsibility will be to ensure pupils reach their full potential in their academic, social, creative, personal, physical and moral development.

Duties as a Graduate Teaching Assistant Include:

* Assisting in providing effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
* Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons.
* Supporting the progress of pupils, educational and behaviour.
* Preparing classroom resources and activities.
* Providing feedback to teachers and parents.
