An enthusiastic and fantastically qualified first-class Graduate is needed to work with to support primary pupils in Key Stage 1 at a fabulous primary school in Barnet, North London. The Graduate Teaching Assistant role is available to support pupils with English and Maths intervention. Results at this school are typically way above national average for Reading, Writing and Maths, the Headteacher is keen to provide additional support to children who have missed a substantial amount of time in school due to Covid-19.
The Graduate Teaching Assistant will be line managed by the school's Deputy Headteacher and will receive support and direction from English and Maths Leaders within the school. This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is suited to a first-class Graduate who already has a love for teaching and ideally, is looking to embark on teacher training within the next few years. The school are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who can convey their love of learning in a positive and professional manner to children from under privileged backgrounds. The Graduate Teaching Assistant role will require you to work with pupils with a wide range of abilities, formal experience supporting children with additional needs is a bonus.
