A Graduate Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.
This will be a full time long term Graduate Teaching Assistant position, with scope to go permanent.
Working days and hours for this Graduate Teaching Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting SEN students and lower attaining pupils in groups or whole class intervention sessions
- Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
- Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.
It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.
Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children and/or teenagers
