A Head of Year is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South East London.
This Head of Year role can be part or full time.
You will be required to mentor and motivate KS3/KS4 pupils for this Head of Year role.
Encouraging positive behaviour/learning, actively engaging with pupils during lessons and being adaptable to different situations will all be essential qualities for this Head of Year post.
An understanding of different subjects and the National Curriculum will be incredibly advantageous for this Head of Year role.
The rates of pay for this Head of Year role will be between £72 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
A 'Good' mixed all through school in Bexley with pupils for Reception to Sixth Form on site.

Sports & Health is the school's specialism, with a lot of importance placed on Physical, Mental and Social Wellbeing. Sports competitions at the school are a staple, with the main games being for Football, Badminton, Handball, Netball, Basketball and Cricket.
Based on past exam results, the school has been placed in the top 18% of schools nationally.
Four learning hubs form the foundation of the school - World Studies, Creative Voice, Active Science & Enterprise.

Requirements
You are welcome to apply if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Head of Year.
Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Head of Year or overseas trained Head of Year.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Head of Year:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience of working as a Head of Year in UK schools
