Reeson Education is working with a well-resourced Special School in West London that is seeking a dedicated SEN Health and Social Care Teacher to join their team from September.
This special needs school focus on providing a holistic environment for students with special educational needs and vulnerable young people from the age of 16-25. With a goal to equip students with valuable employment skills, while helping them transition into aldult life confidently.
The Role:
Teaching Health and Social Care to learners aged 16-19 with a range of special educational needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and complex needs.
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that support both academic and life skills development.
Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, teaching assistants, and SEN specialists.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in an SEN or alternative provision environment, ideally at Post-16 level.
Strong knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum.
Committed to inclusive education and fostering independence and self regulation in young adults with additional needs.
