Health Care Assistant

We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants to start at our SEN client schools in North West London, from September 2020. We are looking for committed health care assistants to work both day-to-day and long-term roles, meaning we are in urgent need of Health Care Assistants. Prior experience working as a health care assistant would be preferred. This role would be perfect for someone that is looking for flexible day to day work or seeking a full time, long term employment. We cover all needs and age groups throughout all London boroughs.

Our client schools work with children that have complex special needs and are currently searching for teaching assistants and health care assistants. This position will be working with children in small classes or on a 1:1 basis. Most pupils in the class has a physical disability as well as other diagnosed difficulties, such as hearing impairment, visual impairment, speech and language.

These schools don't follow the national curriculum and like to focus on the individual needs of each of the students, in order for each child to benefit from their education as much as possible. They all have personal goals and are constantly encouraged to push themselves and given tasks to stimulate their activity. These schools have state of the art facilities and resources, such as a hydrotherapy pool, hoists and physiotherapists on site.

It is important to know that the successful Health Care Assistants will be required to feed and change in addition to any other personal care responsibilities that maybe required, therefore a background in nursing and/or tube feeding would be useful, however the school create a very encouraging and helpful environment and are willing to offer any training.

This is an incredibly rewarding role with the results apparent and in front of you every day as you see each child gradually grow and push themselves.
