We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Health Care Assistants to support children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. We are looking for a Health Care Assistant who is familiar with personal care, manual handling and hoist. The classrooms are very multi-sensory based and the majority of lessons will be based around touch, smell, sound and visual stimulus.
The school prides themselves in providing the best education experience for their students and works to embrace individuality and nurture learning within a safe and empowering environment. They are looking for someone with experience in the Health-care or care sector who can assist their post 16 students to be independent by developing life and work skills for adult life.
Role:
- Working alongside classroom Teachers and other Teaching Assistants
- Supporting non-verbal students with ASD and PMLD and providing personal care
- Preparing the classroom for the school day
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
