Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Classroom Support: A Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will provide valuable support to teachers by assisting in the classroom with various tasks, such as preparing learning materials and resources.
- Student Assistance: They work closely with individual students or small groups, offering extra help and personalized attention to reinforce learning and address specific educational needs.
- Behavior and Classroom Management: A Higher Level Teaching Assistant will help maintain a positive and orderly learning environment by implementing behavior management strategies and promoting good conduct among students.
- Lesson Delivery: In the absence of the teacher, HLTAs may lead lessons and deliver pre-planned activities, ensuring continuity in the learning process.
