A Higher Level Teaching Assistant is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South East London.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant position can be part or full time, on a long term basis.
The school is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant that has strong behaviour management skills, good all round subject knowledge and the ability to multitask effectively.
Additionally, being able to adapt to different situations, stay calm under pressure and maintain a calm environment will all be essential qualities in order to be considered for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant post.
If appointed as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will be expected to support pupils in small groups and covering entire classes in the absence of the class teacher.
Experience of supporting children/young people with Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and other SEN will be advantageous for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role.
The rates of pay for this Higher Level Teaching Assistant position will be between £80 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
You are encouraged to apply if you have extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant or are an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Higher Level Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in UK schools
