History Teacher

If you're a qualified and experienced Secondary School History Teacher, looking for fantastic new opportunity to utilise your skill set, this may be the job for you.

A position for a full-time permanent History Teacher has become available at an excellent, all-girls school in East London.

Applicants for this History Teacher post must be able to teach History at KS3 and GCSE level. These will be the requirements for the position and the everyday teaching required if successful.

The school is looking to appoint a History Teacher for January 2020 on a permanent, full time basis. NQTs and experienced History Teachers are welcome to apply.

The salary for this History Teacher position will be £28355 to £44541 depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from History Teachers at any stage in their career, as well both British trained History Teacher and overseas trained History Teachers. All applicants must have UK qualifications or an overseas formal qualification.

All History Teacher applicants must have the following as a must:

  • UK QTS or an overseas teaching qualification
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working as a History Teacher in the UK or strong working knowledge of the History Curriculum, particularly for KS3 and KS4
