A Humanities Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Bilateral Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
This Humanities Teacher position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.
Teaching for this Humanities Teacher post will be for subjects across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on History classes.
Being able to teach History across all key stages will be advantageous when being considered for this Humanities Teacher role but will not be essential.
The rates of pay for this Humanities Teacher position will be between £170 and £280 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
A Mixed Academy for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Bexley.
The school's history goes back to the 1890s and was officially established in 1967.
It has previously been awarded Specialist School status in ICT, Maths and PE.
There are currently just over 1500 pupils enrolled at the school.
Requirements
You will be considered if you're a Humanities ECT or experienced Humanities Teacher.
Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Humanities Teacher or overseas trained Humanities Teacher.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this post as a Humanities Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Experience as a Humanities Teacher in UK schools
