JOB DESCRIPTION
ICT Technician required for an exceptional School in West London. The school are looking for an ICT Technician to join an establish team. The post is to start ASAP and the post will be offered on a full time basis. The school boasts high academic standards and offers a fantastic working environment to all its staff and pupils. It has excellent facilities and resources. The school are looking for an ICT Technician who can assist with working with a range of desktops, laptops and tablet devices, Wireless, interactive TV's and whiteboards, operating systems updates and anti-virus updates. The school wants to look over CVs as soon as possible with a view to interviewing ideally this week or offering a paid trial.
SCHOOL INFORMATION
The school is based in a lovely area in West London and the school was rated as "Outstanding" by OFSTED in its last inspection. The school was formally a Grammar School and its fantastic standards have been maintained. The Good Schools Guide and notes the school is vastly oversubscribed. It highlighted areas such as the schools' academic strength, superb facilities, dedicated teachers, educational structure, student behaviour and the variety of different educational options available.
The role will involve on-site ICT support of a wide range of products and services encompassing
* Maintaining the school's network
* Installing new software and upgrading existing applications
* Providing technical support for teachers and pupils
* Running diagnostics
* Maintaining and developing the school's website and intranet
* Maintaining hardware peripherals (e.g. scanners, printers, external drives)
* Ensuring internet systems are safe and offer full child protection
REQUIREMENTS
