Job Opportunity: SATS Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SATs Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the learning experiences of our students.

As part of our commitment to student success, we are looking for a highly motivated SATs Intervention Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to students in preparation for their SATs examinations.
Responsibilities: As a SATs Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting classroom teachers and supporting students in achieving their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
Small Group Instruction: Conducting targeted intervention sessions with small groups of students to reinforce key concepts and address specific areas of difficulty in preparation for SATs.
Resource Development: Collaborating with teachers to create engaging and effective resources that cater to the diverse learning needs of students undergoing SATs preparation.
Progress Monitoring: Tracking and monitoring the academic progress of individual students, providing feedback to both students and teachers to inform ongoing interventions.
Collaboration: Working closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other intervention specialists to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- An Enhanced DBS check.
- Relevant teaching or education qualifications.
- Experience working within a school setting, preferably with a focus on SATs preparation.
Position Details:
- Salary: Competetive pay scale
- Contract: Part time position, Monday to Friday.
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
