REESON Education are recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Intervention Teacher to join a Central Islington Primary School in January. This Intervention Teacher role will be a 'temp-to-perm' contract, with 2 terms via the agency and then a direct offer from the school for September 2022.

The School:

Our Client is a lively, successful OFSTED "Outstanding" School based in an excellent Islington Location. The school boasts state of the art facilities, supportive Leadership and an excellent work/life balance for all staff. The school can be easily reached via public transport, but there is also the option for a parking pass for staff who prefer to commute by car.

The school are looking to invest in an Intervention Teacher who is looking to take on a permanent contract next academic year. In light of this, the school is willing to offer highly competitive rates of pay and to scale salaries for the successful Intervention Teacher candidate.

The Role:

As a Year 6 Intervention Teacher, you will be working with small groups of Upper KS2 pupils throughout the day; offering support with core subjects. All planning will be completed by the class teacher, however you will need to be able to follow these plans in an engaging way and offer moral support to pupils who are struggling.

This Intervention Teacher role will focus around Literacy and Numeracy, and therefore a strong subject knowledge is needed in these areas. The successful applicant will be confident in their Upper KS2 curriculum knowledge and ideally have previous experience as an Intervention Teacher or Upper KS2 Class Teacher.
