About the Role
A supportive and forward-thinking Greenwich primary school near Charlton Station is seeking a skilled KS1 Intervention Teacher to deliver targeted literacy and numeracy support across Years 1 and 2. This is a non-class-based role focused on accelerating progress for pupils who require additional academic support.
As a KS1 Intervention Teacher, you will work closely with the KS1 Lead and SENCo to plan and deliver structured interventions, track progress, and adapt strategies to meet individual needs. The role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys focused teaching and making a clear impact in a short timeframe.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a KS1 Intervention Teacher who:
Has strong KS1 teaching experience
Is confident delivering phonics and early number interventions
Uses assessment effectively to inform planning
Can engage pupils in small-group and one-to-one sessions
Works well within a collaborative team
