REESON Education are recruiting for an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to take on a 1 term contract in one of our Lambeth partner schools. The role will begin in April and initially run until the end of the academic year in July (there is a possibility of extension for the right candidate).
The school is a small, supportive 1 form entry, OFSTED "Good" Church of England Primary School. The Headteacher values work life balance for all staff and although offers support as required, has encouraged the team to work autonomously within their yeargroups. The school is well located and easily reached via public transport.
The ideal KS2 Class Teacher will have a minimum of 1 year's teaching experience within KS2. The school are happy to interview candidates who have been teaching to date without completing their NQT year. As a KS2 Class Teacher you must be confident in your curriculum knowledge and be able to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons. Behaviour across the school is generally of a good standard, however as a KS2 Class Teacher you must be able to maintain those standards and be strong and consistent in line with school policies.
The school are open to receiving applications from a variety of KS2 Class Teachers, even if your previous experience has been on a PPA or Intervention basis rather than class teaching.
