A warm and welcoming Primary School located in West London, is seeking to appoint a KS2 Teacher for September 2020. The school was recently rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED and presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Key Stage Two (KS2) teacher. The school has fine pupil behaviour, supportive parents and pastoral leadership team.

The school prides itself on providing a welcoming environment for children and staff, with excellent pupil attainment and staff stability. The stable senior leadership team allow each teacher to develop and take on extra responsibility, offering continued support throughout. The school has excellent CPD in place with additional time given for training and management courses.

Each classroom is well equipped with extra resources available when needed. The school is located in North West London with good transport links into the rest of London via Bus, Overground and Underground.

The KS2 Teacher Role

As part of this KS2 Teacher role you will be expected to take charge of a lovely Year 5 class from September onwards. You will work within the Key Stage Two (KS2) National Curriculum implementing effective and stimulating lessons for pupils of mixed ability. In addition to your role as a class teacher there is also the opportunity to take on extra responsibility should you wish.

Requirements:

  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • Relevant Key Stage Two (KS2) teaching experience
  • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
  • A passion for teaching
  • You must be an excellent classroom practitioner and have a strong presence within the classroom.

To be eligible for this position you will have a recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education or PGCE) and hold QTS (or be eligible to apply for this). In addition, relevant Key Stage Two (KS2) teaching experience, within either a school teaching environment, is essential. Two references will be sought prior to interview.
