REESON Education are working in partnership with a large, successful Hackney Primary School in their search for a KS2 Teacher for September 2021. The role will be a permanent appointment, with a possible TLR offered after term 1 for experienced teachers looking to progress and take on additional responsibility alongside their role.
The role will be taking on a Year 6 class of approximately 29 pupils of mixed ability. The school are ideally seeking to hear from experienced Year 6 Teachers - though they will consider applications from strong teachers with KS2 Phase experience.
The school are a 3 form entry, OFSTED "Outstanding" institution with high expectations but equally high rewards; as well as a track record of above-average attainment across all core subjects at KS2 SATs. The leadership at school have worked incredibly hard to raise the standards at school (behaviour is now noted as exceptional across the board) and are looking to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher who can maintain and exceed these standards from term 1.
The school work with a mixed cohort (their catchment area is high PP and SEND) and therefore need a KS2 Teacher who is adaptable and able to build a strong rapport with parents/carers. A key element of the role will be ensuring that parents and the local community trust in you, and the school to ensure all students in your class reach their full potential.
In order to be considered for interview for this KS2 teacher role, you must have:
- Contact details for 2 Education references that cover the past 5 years of work history
- A clear, enhanced DBS check dated within the last 2 years
- A PGCE, B.ed or equivalent, UK recognised teaching qualification
- QTS (or be within your 4 year allowance if Overseas trained)
