A small and supportive school situated Merton, SW London is seeking an experienced and hardworking practitioner to take over their Year 5 class from 20th April onwards. This Ofsted rated 'Good' school requires someone to take the class through to July 2020 in the first instance. This role has come about due to maternity. The KS2 Teacher position will be contracted as a long-term supply position and can pay up to £180 per day.
The school offers a friendly and hardworking environment where working towards a common goal is paramount. There is a supportive staff base and focused senior leadership team at hand to support all staff. Children at the school behave very well and work hard to challenge themselves and engage well in their lessons.
The KS2 Teacher positon in open to both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
What you'll need to apply for the KS2 Teacher position?
- Experience teaching in KS2 in the UK (NQTs welcome to apply)
- QTS - Achieved through a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP or equivalent
- An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service
- Two teaching related references from your last two employers
