Dependable Learning Support Assistant needed ASAP for an excellent North London Secondary school.

You will need to be able to exhibit a compassionate manner, multi task, express a proactive attitude and be adaptable for this Learning Support Assistant post.

If appointed as a Learning Support Assistant you primary responsibility will be to support SEMH pupils.

As a Learning Support Assistant at the school, you will need to be reliable and empathetic to pupils.

Although development of pupil's academic attainment is always key, maintenance and enhancement of their general wellbeing will be the main focus for this Learning Support Assistant role

There will be times where you will be expected to support other groups of pupils in class, work 1:1 with different SEN students and also run intervention sessions too.

Due to the level of consistency and commitment required to effectively support pupils, this Learning Support Assistant role will be full time and long term.

The rates of pay for this Learning Support Assistant role will be between £70 to £100 a day depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The school operates a 3 year KS3, where all the core National Curriculum subjects are taught.

In KS4, all students do the EBacc core subjects, with the following options: Classics, Performing Arts, Music, Art, DT, Food Tech, PE and Computer Science.

Entry to the schools Sixth Form is dependent on 7 GCSE passes and the intention to achieve 3 or more A Levels.

Requirements

You can apply if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Learning Support Assistant or overseas trained Learning Support Assistant.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant in UK schools
