Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Reeson Education is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Key Stage 1 who has SEN. This role, based in Roehampton, offers an immediate start for four days per week Monday to Thursday.
Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and assistance to a child with SEN in Key Stage 1 on a 1:1 basis.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies as directed by the SENCO and class teacher.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the child's academic and social development.
- Communicate effectively with the SENCO, class teacher, and parents to ensure the child's needs are met.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the child.
