Location: Tower Hamlets (near Stepney Green Station)
Start Date: January (trialling ASAP)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £85-£105 per day
Year Group: Year 3
About the Role
A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEN from January, with trial sessions available immediately. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored one-to-one support, helping the pupil access lessons, develop confidence, and manage daily routines.
This role suits a Learning Support Assistant who is patient, consistent, and confident implementing individual support strategies.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant who:
Has experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, communication needs, or similar)
Can build a trusting, positive relationship with one learner
Works well as part of a supportive KS2 team
Shows initiative, reliability, and strong communication skills
