A Learning Support Assistant is needed in a Non-Denomination All Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in West London.

This Learning Support Assistant position will be full time and long term.

Working hours for this Learning Support Assistant post will be 8am to 4pm.

If appointed as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

The rates of pay for this Learning Support Assistant role will be between £82.14 and £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

Located in the London Borough of Hounslow, the school is a short distance from the River Thames.

In the most recent inspection, the school was rated 'Good' across all areas by Ofsted.

It is one of the oldest schools in the area, tracing its history back to 1630.

From Year 7 to 11, the school has an intake for boys only with girls being admitted to school's Sixth Form.

The Sixth Form is part of a consortium with other Secondary schools in the borough.

The main school site is located near a famous country estate.

In 2003, the school gained Sports College status and in 2005 was named Sports College of the Year in the UK.

Several professional athletes, sportsman and MPs have been former pupils.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant.

You're also encouraged to apply if you're a British trained Learning Support Assistant or overseas trained Learning Support Assistant.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Learning Support Assistant in UK schools
