Learning Support Assistant - Autism (SEN) - Haringey Primary School
A well-resourced Primary School in Haringey is looking for a motivated and understanding Learning Support Assistant to support children with Autism and complex needs in a mainstream setting. The school has an excellent reputation for inclusion and provides a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.
The Learning Support Assistant will be working in close partnership with class teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals to ensure each child receives tailored support. The school is open to Psychology Graduates or experienced Learning Support Assistants looking to expand their SEN experience.
Key duties of the Learning Support Assistant:
Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with Autism and communication needs.
Create and adapt learning activities that promote engagement and independence.
Support children in developing emotional regulation and social interaction skills.
Maintain communication with teaching staff and parents to track progress.
Contribute to a calm, structured, and positive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:
Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in an SEN role within schools.
Confidence in supporting children with Autism and associated learning needs.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to use initiative.
Psychology Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Pay: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
