Learning Support Assistant - KS1 SEND Support - Haringey, North London
A supportive Primary School in Haringey, North London is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work within KS1, supporting children with SEND, including ASD and ADHD, in a mainstream classroom.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide structured support through small group and 1:1 interventions. This Learning Support Assistant role is ideal for someone patient, consistent, and confident in supporting early learning and behaviour regulation.
Key responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant role:
Supporting KS1 pupils with SEND in class
Delivering targeted interventions as a Learning Support Assistant
Supporting communication, routines, and engagement
Promoting independence and confidence
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
