Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour & Emotional Support - Haringey - Primary School
A well-supported primary school in Haringey is searching for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide behavioural and emotional support to pupils across KS1 and KS2. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant or a graduate with strong behaviour mentoring experience who can confidently support children with additional behavioural needs.
In this Learning Support Assistant role, you will work with pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation, social interaction, and maintaining focus throughout the school day. The school offers excellent guidance from their SENCO and pastoral team, ensuring you feel supported and equipped from day one.
Learning Support Assistant Role Includes:
Supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional needs, and social difficulties.
Delivering structured interventions and helping pupils to regulate and refocus.
Building positive, trusting relationships with children who require consistent boundaries.
Supporting teachers in creating a calm and structured learning environment.
Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive behaviour patterns.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with behaviour, SEMH or SEN pupils.
Ability to use de-escalation and proactive behaviour-management strategies.
Resilient, reliable and committed to supporting children who need extra guidance.
Psychology graduates or behaviour-focused candidates are welcome to apply.

Pay: £85-£100 per day
