Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour

Reeson Education are recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in M33. The Learning Support Assistant will support pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other learning needs. This full-time Learning Support Assistant role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, dynamic environment where every child's progress matters.
Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Assist pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs as a Learning Support Assistant
- Work with teachers to implement personalised strategies
- Encourage engagement, independence, and social skills
- Support behaviour management using positive reinforcement
- Observe and track pupil progress as a Learning Support Assistant
- Help create a structured and motivating learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interventions
- Foster resilience, confidence, and a growth mindset
- Promote inclusion and tailored learning approaches
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH or additional needs desirable.
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive Learning Support Assistant.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
