An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) school in Chiswick on a full-time, long-term basis.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students with moderate learning difficulties. You will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and looking to develop their skills within a supportive and well-structured school environment.
Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities
Provide individual and group support to students with MLD
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies
Foster students' independence and confidence in learning
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Learning Support Assistant Attributes
A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
A genuine interest in special educational needs and inclusive education
