A number of vibrant and inclusive primary schools in Islington are seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support children with additional needs from September.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support to pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and learning delays
Support behaviour management and learning development
Provide personal care when necessary
Work closely with SENCOs and teaching staff to implement EHCPs
Create a calm, positive learning space for all pupils
Requirements:
Experience working with children with special educational needs
Positive, flexible attitude and a willingness to help where needed
Comfortable with personal care duties
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
