Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping children stay engaged and make strong academic progress.
This Learning Support Assistant role may involve supporting pupils with mild SEND, delivering targeted interventions, and assisting with classroom management.
Key responsibilities for a Learning Support Assistant include:
- Supporting pupils with literacy and numeracy interventions
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

We're Looking For in a Learning Support Assistant:
- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant
- Experience in a primary school setting
