An excellent opportunity is available for either an NQT or experienced Mathematics Teacher to teach mathematics from year 7-13 in a very reputable mixed secondary school located in Barking and Dagenham, East London.

The mathematics teacher will be appointed on a fixed term contract or long- term supply basis initially until August 2020.

The school has over 1,250 students on the roll with 250 in a successful 6th form where maths is very popular. The school has excellent resources and the mathematics department can boast state of the art facilities.

The ideal mathematics teacher will be joining a maths department of 10 that consists of experienced teachers and a couple of NQT's. The mathematics team is excellent and has a very good reputation within the school for stability and results. The maths timetable will mainly consist of teaching mathematics to year 7-11. However, there will be the opportunity to teach AS and A2 mathematics for a teacher with suitable experience.

The school prides itself on behaviour and attainment and in 2018 the OFSTED inspection graded the school as "good".
