A Maths Teacher is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South London.
This Maths Teacher role will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.
The school are looking for a Maths Teacher to teach KS3 to KS5 Maths.
Standard class teacher responsibilities will be attached to this Maths Teacher role. This includes but isn't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings.
The team would be very keen to meet you if you are an experienced Maths Teacher, looking for the next step up in their career. They can offer Lead Practitioner of Maths if you meet the relevant criteria.
The rates of pay for this Maths Teacher position will range from £160 to £260 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.
The School
A 'Good' mixed school for boys and girls aged 11 - 19.
There is a thriving 6th Form, as well as two sites.
The school is considered an Art & Enterprise Specialist, with the approach of making pupils Art orientated.
There is a strong focus on preparing pupils for employment in the 21st Century as well.
The school benefits from excellent facilities; 12 laboratories, an ICT suite and a talented team of technicians.
Strong STEM links and a growing interest in promoting Maths-based careers also form key elements to the school's ethos/reputation.
Requirements
You're encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Maths Teacher or overseas trained Maths Teacher.
You are also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Maths Teacher or overseas trained Maths Teacher.
All applicants must have the following as a must in order to be considered for this position as a Maths Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Experience of teaching as a Maths Teacher in UK schools
