Reeson Education is excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is a maternity cover position starting January 2026, running through the Spring and Summer Term.
We are looking for an MFL Teacher who is ambitious for students and has a clear vision for enhancing the role of Modern Foreign Languages within the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities - MFL Teacher
As an MFL Teacher, you will:
- Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of work, behaviour, and attitudes in the classroom and across the school.
- Teach a varied curriculum to students across different year groups and abilities.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department and colleagues to develop teaching materials and strategies.
- Contribute positively to the inclusive and supportive school culture.
Ideal Candidate - MFL Teacher
The ideal MFL Teacher will be:
- A qualified teacher with experience in delivering MFL across KS3 and KS4.
- Passionate about languages and committed to inspiring students.
