MFL Teacher - Part Time - Harrow - November Start - Temp to Perm

This specialist secondary provision caters for students aged 11-16 who may have experienced barriers to learning in mainstream education. Many of the pupils display challenging behaviours and have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time MFL Teacher to join a supportive secondary provision in Harrow, working with students who present challenging behaviours and may require additional emotional and academic support.
MFL Teacher Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated MFL lessons (French and/or Spanish) to secondary-aged pupils.
Support students with diverse learning needs, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide a nurturing, structured learning environment.
Plan and adapt lessons to ensure accessibility and progress for all learners.
Attributes:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (Key Stages 3-4).
Understanding of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or experience in alternative provision is highly desirable.
Strong behaviour management skills, patience, and a restorative approach.
