REESON Education are recruiting for Newly Qualified Teachers who completed their PGCE in July 2020. We are working in direct partnership with a Central Islington Teaching School are able to offer support with Induction Years for Newly Qualified Teachers across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The school are an OFSTED 'Outstanding' 3 form entry located a short walk from an incredibly well connected London Underground Station. Central London can be reached in under 5 minutes and a variety of local bus routes can take you across North London in under 45 minutes. On site parking is also available for candidates who would prefer to commute by car.
As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will spend 4 days per week in class and 1 day per week being mentored by an experienced educator who is working within your yeargroup. You will be given direct support with lesson planning, behaviour and classroom management strategies as well as with any other areas of your teaching that you feel would benefit from additional input.
As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will be regularly observed by members of SLT and given direct feedback on your progress. The school is exceptionally good at ensuring all NQT's leave their Induction Year feeling confident in their teaching and ability to maximise the progress of each individual pupil.
In order to be considered for this Newly Qualified Teacher role, you will need to have:
- 'Good' or 'Outstanding' placement grades from your PGCE Course
- A good understanding of the UK National Curriculum within your specialist phase (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to develop your career within a single school setting
